Scene Study Acting Workshop
I will be teaching a scene study acting workshop from July
9-August 27,
meeting every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The course will culminate with a public performance of scenes.
Tuition is $175. Class size will be 8-12.

of his favorite roles have been Thomas Becket
and King Henry II, which he
alternated nightly in Becket at the Pilot Theatre in Los
Angeles; Scrooge in A Christmas
Carol, Teddy in When You Comin'
Back Red Ryder?, Moon
in The Real Inspector Hound, Albert
in A Night Out, and Gomez in
The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit at the Greene Street Theatre
in Key West, Florida; and Billy Beavis
in The Poker Session at the Lambs Club Theatre in New York.
A native of Brooklyn, Joe's New York credits include As You
Like It (Touchstone), Antigone
(Haemon), Luther (Martin
Luther), Ghosts (Osvald),
and The School for Wives (Arnolphe).
He played the role of Marat in Marat/Sade
with the American Modern Dance Theatre in their experimental dance
undertaking of the modern classic, and danced the role of Drosselmeier
in The Nutcracker for eight seasons with the New Jersey Dance
Theater Guild.
Joe's
summer stock and dinner theater credits include The Elephant
Man (Ross), Lunch Hour (Oliver),
The Owl and the Pussycat (Felix),
Marriage-Go-Round (Ross Barnett),
Don't Drink the Water (Axel Magee),
and Play It Again, Sam (Allan Felix).
In New Jersey community theaters Joe has been seen as George
in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Starbuck
in The Rainmaker, Dr. Martin Dysart
in Equus, Norman in The Dresser,
Krogstad in A Doll's House,
and Charlie in The Foreigner.
